Watched this kid at UND. Hopefully he gets back to what he looked like there, and not this season with BU

So I heard that visa stuff will possibly keep him from playing right away, which is fine. So that likely means he gets his NHL debut against the Avs or the second game against the Wild. Welcome to the league, kid!

Nice, hoping we see him a few games with the Hawks.

Hawks are severely lacking in physical play. Lost their 3 top guys who brought that style of play to the team at the deadline.

Not often rookies, let alone teenagers exert themselves fully when first entering the league, but I’m sure Boisvert would’ve gotten involved versus Vegas. Was a bit rough watching Connor get worked over again and again without much of a response.

  5. Theres been alot of negative things that have been said about his character lately. He is still a young kid and still has growing up. Hopefully only having to focus on being a pro helps him grow. Here’s to hoping he pulls it off with the Hawks.

  6. Powers has a good summary of Boisvert’s progress [here](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7110011/2026/03/16/blackhawks-sacha-boisvert-contract-ncaa-nhl/?source=user_shared_article)

Summary of the summary from the article is:

    >*A strong start to the forward’s season was followed by a nagging shoulder injury, inconsistencies, a suspension for fighting and, most recently, being held out of a do-or-die game last week for an undisclosed reason. After being one of the country’s top freshmen at North Dakota last season, this season was disappointing for him in so many ways.*

Praying BU was just awful this year top to bottom, he didn’t look like a player ready for the NHL at all this year.

My judgment is reserved until I actually see him play an NHL game, but I hope his season with BU was a fluke.

I’m meh on his debut (more looking forward to Frondell) but I hope he does well and helps the team.

Honestly if this guy can throw hands put him in the lineup, can take lafferty’s spot and when he’s kicked for the game double shift bedard

This kid gives off a bit of a smarmy feel to me. He had better have his head on straight if he wants to be a pro.

It’s kind of strange bc it was said he left N. Dakota bc they were concerned about a new coach taking over there which is why he got out. But N. Dakota is playing good this year so it makes me wonder even before he was scratched
