Calgary and New Jersey, you could both do the funniest thing.

Everyone united cheering against Detroit, Boston and Pittsburgh and we stand to benefit the most
Can we please have an out of town scoreboard go our way? 🤞

I swear this isn’t a criticism of your model, I really appreciate the work you’re doing. This is just my own thickheadedness. Yesterday’s model posted here had a Sens win against SJ as increasing our odds by less than a percentage point and the Montreal game wasn’t even posted here (presumably because it was also calculated to have no bearing on our odds) so with those things being true, how did our odds increase 8.1% yesterday? I know you said you’re making tweaks to the model, so is that the reason?

My post got taken down so I’ll write it here, since I guess this is the appropriate place for it:
Several of the teams we’re trying to pass play each other this week:
Habs play the Bruins Tuesday, Detroit Thursday and then less big, but still relevant to our playoff odds, they play the Islanders on Saturday. All games where SOMEONE we want to lose at least a point will do so.
And as many people correctly added, those games will all probably go to OT, but I’ll take any point we can!

I love that both TSN and Sportsnet are showing absolutely no hockey this evening.

Flames have been the better team vs Detroit so far

Is this the thread where we can vent our frustrations when Boston/Detroit tie up their games in the final minute?
As always, Sens-specific data is available at https://whotocheerfor.com/team/OTT
