So we’re continuing to put Lane on his offside, but just giving him a worse partner each game?
The difference in his play on the offside to strong side is like a 30+ point pace.
We need to stop this and just run a weaker 3rd pair, which we only play 8-10 minutes anyways.

I get it, MSL is trying to find balance with a flawed defense lacking a proper RHD for the 2nd pair but Hutson-Dobson is your best pair and they should stay together for the foreseeable future. When this team becomes a contender they’ll be the ones leading the defense

Ugh, I don’t get it. The guy who’s in and out of the lineup, plays around 10 minutes/game, and is a defensive liability ends up on the second pair with an offensive D who’s known to take risks, which can sometimes lead to 2-on-1s. Plus, let’s play hutson on his offside, sure

Don’t understand why we don’t run Hutson/Dobson (firepower pairing) Matheson/Guhle (shutdown) and Xhekaj, Struble/Carrier (leftovers). Could even swap Guhle with Carrier if they struggle.

Holy fuck just run Hutson – Dobson it shouldn’t be this hard. Running Hutson on his offside with a plug on his left is just disrespectful. Why the fuck isn’t Reinbacher called up. He would have no trouble whatsoever of being better than Jayden Struggle.

It makes sense for Guhle to get a reduced role for a while. He heavily relied on his skating and the lost mobility from the surgery is proving to be very difficult for him. I’m just waiting for him to build back his groin muscle with reps to go back to normal.
