Seems pretty similar to the prices now

  2. SpectreFire

Home opener discount of 2 beverages for the price of 3!

  3. Delicious_Series3869

At least the water is a reasonable price, I’ll take it.

Not far off. Gate revenue league, a cap of $126M in a few years. How do you think Blueberry Trumper will be able to pay player salaries.

  5. Wow looks like they’re lowering most prices to me

If we get McKenna I’ll pay 100 bucks for a beer

Should drop it so people will buy more to offset the pain of watching the team get spanked

This would be the dream for Michael Doyle.

Have an Econ degree and price gouging is something we’re taught to never do. Yes, you can artificially raise profits for a few quarters, but people will eventually rollback their spending.

Not to mention, this is past the the « Equilibrium Point ». Their markups are so high that their profits would likely be higher if they priced beer around $15, instead of $25. I myself am a STH and I get one beer a game ($25 spent). I would likely get two at $15/beer ($30 spent).

ALSO, since concessions are so high I regularly get people turning me down for free tickets, which leaves them with getting no concession sales at all. While the team keeps denoting the Canucks are getting 18k/game, the lower bowl has been at least 30% empty the last month or so. A lot of those empty seats come from people like me who just can’t be bothered to head to the arena just to be ripped off.

I make a lot of posts about Doyle and am clearly not a fan of him. But everything i stated is naturally learned by the smallest of business owners. It’s not rocket science. The team and their profits are worse because he’s involved.

This is absolutely brutal. LDB sells Bud light for approximately $2/serving so they are charging a 4400% mark up on the Bud. Not 100% or 200% like a bar or restaurant. If you want the privilege of paying $125 or more to watch the team with the worst home record in the league lose a game, then you are also extorted into paying a shameful price for beer or water. It is like management is actively trying to drive fans away from actually attending games.

An entire park for $100 seems like a good deal to me.
