Obviously let’s see if he can step up in the playoffs and continue this momentum, but as of right now I would not mind having Tarasenko back on a short term slightly team friendly deal next year. If we can sign him for 3rd line kind of money but have him as a “just incase” kind of fill in guy, I’d be all for that.
Same goes for Zuccy and Mojo, if they wanna take some big team friendly discounts, I wouldn’t mind having them either for “just incase” situations. Let’s say 10-11 AAV for all 3 of them combined.. who says no to that?

We’ve got some really interesting decisions coming up in free agency. Tarasenko, Johansson, Zuccarello, McCarron, Nick Foligno, Bogosian all UFAs. Wouldn’t mind bringing all of those guys back on cheap deals but am also terrified Billy is going to be handing out 3x4s to guys like McCarron

Wings/wild fan, glad to see he’s doing good with the wild, he’s been one of my favorite players for years and I was happy when he signed with the wings, really think he just wasn’t a fit and his head wasn’t completely in the game last year with his dad’s passing right at the beginning of the season. This way I will get to watch him and cheer for him, he deserves it.

Tary seems like a really likable guy. Especially his Becoming Wild (I think it was? Maybe Beyond Our Ice?) and of course we want him to do well. Glad he’s hitting his goals and aiming above them, and that his teammates and coaches believe in him too. Once they got the Kremline together and other mixups he has really found his own place. I called him Tera-stink-o the first half or so of the season but he’s been putting in his best effort and it’s paying off.

40-50 points is all you can ask for. He has his stops and starts, but it was the kind of depth scoring the team has needed here and there. Already more points than last year with 10-12 games to go.
I would not be against keeping him for the right price.

He’s scored 26 goals against us (the most he’s scored against any team in his career btw), so he still owes us at least 7 more.
