>Since the league started tracking faceoffs nearly 30 years ago, Räty’s faceoff prowess is tracking to be a top-25 season all-time. It’s also the best season ever by a player under the age of 25.
This part is particularly impressive. If he can be at least decently efficient on the offensive end he could be a hell of an asset.

His white stick will never not make me smile

So happy when he scored yesterday. I hope he can carve out a role, and that Foote stops being a prick.

He can definitely throw it back like few else can.

If Raty becomes a faceoff and PK specialist that will still be a big asset. Also, his work ethic is noticed and will benefit the room.

Wow he wins important face offs at a low salary. Let’s send him down to Abbotsford in favor of giving Evander Kane 20 minutes a night

With those faceoff numbers Raty would be on my team. No question.

I hope he can work with the Sedins on his skating. Feel like they have similar styles and progression, skating wise. He also hasn’t had a full summer to work on skating/game for a few years IIRC.

Still can’t skate. But well, we said the same about Bo.

It’s strange that they refer to coaches, but don’t name them. I thought he learned his faceoff trick from Olli Jokinen?
Interesting_Book1769
i really hope he becomes a good asset on the team. a 3/4C that takes important draws, strong on the pk, and maybe get you 30+ points would ideal imo
