Sydney Crosby didn’t keep the puck from the 2010 game winning goal. His response when he was asked about Hughes this week: “I didn’t even think about it that way, to be honest with you. I was just happy that I scored the goal. I was happy that the puck was going to the Hall of Fame. I didn’t even think about it that way.”
Weird how we never heard a fuss about Crosby not getting the puck in 2010.
Anyone see Crosby’s comments? Guy’s happy his is in the Hall. Doesn’t even look at it like he owns the puck. Difference between Americans and Canadian. If anything Hellebuyck should ask for it anyways he bailed them out.

This is the third time I’m seeing a post about this. Holy cow y’all, it’s not *that* unreasonable of an ask. Not saying HHOF needs to give it to him, but him feeling sentimental about that particular puck isn’t unreasonable.
I was surprised that Jack was surprised he wasn’t getting it? Surely it makes sense that the Hall would want it to commemorate another olympic finals.
