    Washington, we appreciate you for beating Ottawa in regulation. I will take every small win I can right now.

    To the Canes – what the hell man? I appreciate the comeback but you were up 4-3 with 5 minutes to go. This Penguins team is relentless now that Karlsson has suddenly returned to being a star.

    Tonight playoff implications are huge, with us being able to gain 14% increased odds of making playoffs if everything goes out way. With us currently sitting at 66% odds, that means we could end the night woth 80% odds of making the playoffs. (Hockeyviz)

    Regulation win for us +9% (8% for OTW, 7% for SOW)

    Ott/bos loss in regulation +2% each

    Clb loss in regulation +1%

    There’s a beer at One Well in Kalamazoo called ‘Let’s go Red Wheat’. It’s a red wheat (duh), and it’s delicious as hell. It helps im a big Wheat beer fan, so hopefully, my drinking of one tonight will influence the outcome of the game because my superstitions are the most influential. Yours are just dumb 🤪

    Really hoping the boys manage to pull it off this year.

    The Wings are my favorite team. I’ll probably watch the Griffins and maybe the Spirit but I’m itching for summer hockey for Detroit.

    Feel good going into the game tonight. Lines are clicking and defense has looked really good since adding Faulk. Hoping our kids come to play against the Habs kids, love big nights for Finnie and Kas

    Watched Caps/Sens last night and we can at least be thankful that the second Hutson isn’t in our division, he stood out in the same way that Lane did when he debuted against us.

    Also I thought it was really nice that McMichael waved him off so he couldn’t pass and got to score on the empty net. Good vibes all around to top off a Sens loss.

    Montreal is a tricky one. They are not very defensively strong but the Wings can’t play against them like they did against Calgary. The Wings need to channel the 4-0 win over them back in January. Keep the game under control and defensive mistakes low and capitalize on Montreal’s weak goaltending.

    Wings are going to have to break the Habs game tonight. They’re a very clean and fluid squad and they’re going to have to be pests in the neutral zone and get the puck to the boards. Screens and grimy net front stuff might work.

    Went over to the subs of the teams around us in the playoff race to try and get a vibe of how they’re feeling. Very funny seeing them all complain about how every game seems to be a three point game too. Also saw an absurd post on the Blue Jackets sub accusing the league and refereeing of going out of their way to screw them over lmao

    Thoughts on if wearing, like, literally all of your wings attire at the same time in a professional work environment would be frowned upon completely out of context when you work with virtual teams all over the world with no single natural hockey allegiance or even implicit awareness of what’s happening in the NHL playoff race?
