Je suis venu d’Allemagne à Montréal pour le hockey. Je ne m’attendais pas à ce que cela me donne quelque chose de beaucoup plus grand.
J’ai parcouru cette ville pendant des heures, en capturant tout : les gens, l’énergie, la passion pour les Canadiens. J’ai eu tellement de petites conversations, j’ai reçu des conseils, j’ai partagé des moments avec des inconnus et je suis honnêtement très reconnaissant pour tout cela. J’ai essayé de m’imprégner de tout cela et de profiter de chaque seconde.
Ensuite, je me suis assis au Centre Bell, un endroit aussi légendaire que possible. Un endroit que je n’ai connu que grâce à d’innombrables nuits passées à regarder de loin. Et maintenant, j’étais ici, vivant quelque chose de vraiment spécial.
Ce match de Boston – j’en parlerai à mes petits-enfants 🥹
Au fil du temps. Pression. Bruit. Et puis… le gagnant du jeu. Juste devant moi.
Des inconnus sont devenus amis pour un moment de joie partagé – ça me donne encore des frissons rien que d’y penser.
Mais honnêtement, ce n’était même pas le moment le plus important.
Cette ville, ce pays et ses habitants occupent une place particulière dans mon cœur – et sous ma peau.

Your photos make it clear that you enjoyed a little slice of REAL Montreal – just wandering around, grabbing a bite here and there, while letting the city soak into your pore (hopefully underneath a decently warm coat).
So glad that at least one of your games was an absolute banger…and from THAT seat no less. Might want to check the game footage from the various networks and see if you can spot yourself in any of the OT goal celebration wide shots.
