I have so many videos from that game trying to capture #70 haha.
I was at this game. I remember when he went hard head first into the boards behind the net. To this day I still think that moment was what lead to his long term injury that held him back the following year

Well, that was a tough watch. 1-4 at home hurts, especially with Matthews stuck on 68. The energy dropped completely after that 4th goal. Detroit’s defense just shut us down
I was at this game banging on the glass and an assistant coach told me to stop

The best thing about it is the tip he could have tried but didn’t and it was a goal. Nylander would have tipped it wide looking for the goal.
