Yeah but they still dropped a super important game yesterday, basically a 4 pts game.
They still need to find some urgency in their game. They’re playing like Colorado, who’s basically clinched already, while all the teams around them are giving it everything they’ve got.
I hate to say it, but watch a few Ottawa games. They’re missing their best player in Sanderson but consistently outplay their opponents. Even if they don’t always get the results.

The standings are so tight, we have 2 games against, NYI, CBJ and TB. How we make out in those ones is going to make or break where we finish up. Let’s hope this tough loss stung enough that the boys come out hard against NYI on Saturday. I think they need to make Schaefers night very uncomfortable.

Yup, tough loss but no big issues in play and we are still in a relatively good spot. Anyone who thought we were just going to coast into the playoffs was delusional. We are “in the mix” just as expected.

I’m more concerned over our trend. We have looked anemic since the Olympics, which is sad considering Hutson, demidov and caufield had those two weeks off.
We are repeatedly dropping games in the last 10 minutes we should be winning, or at least getting a point out of.

we’ve edged completely collapse in the last 4 games over and over…this is probably the last time we can lose a game this big

My dream scenario is Buffalo falls back to reality in the final weeks of the season and we get paired up with them and get the luck of the draw.
Tampas been struggling as of late, and the other teams have all had their struggles and weaknesses at points in the season, so I could see us beating any team other than Carolina, given the right circumstances and performance from our players.
On the flip side, I could also see us losing to any team in the playoffs if they remain on their hot streaks or we play like we have in a few our games lately, or get mediocre goaltending
