    Holy shit.

    I thought this was a pretty good stretch but I’m not sure I was ready to be confronted by a stat like that this.

    It’s just such a sea change that it felt more just like « oh, this is what winning feels like, » but it’s way more than that, clearly. This morning I was pontificating that there was always this unspoken feeling that the streak was going to end with some kind of white-knuckled, « will-they-actually-do-it-this-time » playoff chase such that the level of success the Sabres have seen since December is not processing normally. The streak is functionally over, but it’s going to be hard to feel like it’s actually over until that little x- shows up.

    What a time to be alive.

    The 22-23 bruins started the season 32-4-4.

    No complaints with the Sabres run but you don’t have to go back to ‘95
