I mean this is not a surprise right?

  2. Sabres, Avs and Stars are way too good for that.

  3. AngryAssyrian

As long as Bettman is in charge we won’t be seeing the end of that drought anytime soon.

  4. Abs may suffer from the President’s Cup curse, which can help the Oilers when they face them.

I’m delusional, so I’m gonna hope this is a jinx lol

(Not that I think the Leafs are gonna win it tho)

I mean…honestly? I feel like Montreal could make a run. Obviously juggernauts like Tampa and Buffalo will most likely run the east but Montreal could probably do something (if they make the playoffs)

Edmonton may beat one of Vegas/Anaheim/LA/Seattle but I dont see then making it passed the 2nd or 3rd round

Not going to end until the Habs break it sometime in the next decade. Oilers getting what they deserve after decades of mismanagement.

It’s the Playoffs ask Dallas and Avs last few years ..
    and da Jets

No shit. The Oilers had their chance the last 2 seasons and shit the bed. It will be a miracle if they get to the by the 2nd round.

Hold on, we don’t think the Canucks are winning it all next year?

  11. Atty_for_hire

It could happen if Canada annex’s Buffalo. Which I would happily vote for at this point

Don’t we hear every year an american team wins about how they were basically all Canadians? Canada wins the cup every year. As we are continually reminded. Not sure what the issue is.

  13. I hate the oilers. But if the last two years tell me anything, it’s that they can look like a complete dumster fire but once they find that next gear in the playoffs…. look out!

Some say the ghost of Bettman haunts the league to this very day…

  15. king_bungholio

A lot of people making comments about Bettman, but the dirty secret is that the Canadian franchises are all poorly run. They just skate by on the fact hockey is popular, and people will show up to games to avoid losing their team like Winnipeg and Quebec City did.

    This article in a nutshell:

    >*Canada Sucks*

    >*- Peter Griffin*

  17. Well yeah; is gonna be either Buffalo/canes or the Avs this year. It’s pretty clear

  18. WhatShouldTheHeartDo

We pass on the torch to the Habs.

If anyone is gonna be able to do it, might as well be the Mecca.

To get back to the top, you gotta get back to your roots.

  19. Wait a minute. I thought McJesus was the best. Like, I mean, the best ever. Hence, the Jesus part.

So the media was lying to me all these years?
