Ha ha! The Make Me Laughs made me laugh with a loss to the CaroWhina Hurry-Canes! Imagine not winning the Cup since 1967. Couldn't be us! Two teams going nowhere. Let's go Stars!
Morgan!!!!
Another loser point is great.
Signed:
The Boston Bruins.
Leafs are on a streak…
5:50 "I think there should be some hesitation [on calling it a penalty shot], this is a bouncing puck that he never really got control of." Gee, I wonder why he was having trouble controlling the puck that was right in front of him? Maybe it was because he got SLASHED ON THE HAND?
The slash is WHY he didn't get a quality scoring chance. You can't use the result of the penalty being a loss of a scoring chance to argue that it shouldn't be a penalty shot. It's exactly the type of situation in which a penalty shot should be called.
Seriously one of the dumbest lines of reasoning I've heard in a while. It's like saying "well this high stick shouldn't be a penalty shot because he doesn't have control of the puck, he just falls down to the ice clutching his face."
O’Reilly 🍀🙄🤦♂as a person I like him and his wife, as a no.1 dman I don’t I might like him as a number 4 or 5 tho 😏 who was the canes player who drew a 4minute PP guessing a cut on a high stick 🤔🤷♂
Jimmy bob and bill beat beat the Leafs tonight.
Morgan Riley got to goooooooooooooo
softest penalty shot
Not sure what some think, but a simple retool with a bottom six player is all this teams needs. Top six are paid to be top six. Doesn't mean they need score, support their underlings, just be prepared or golf season. It's the Leafs and we give them some latitude from MLSE down to some player they may want to draft. They can do no wrong here folks. Not sure why many don't realize ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE in the organization is likely underpaid.
I say Leafs should raise ticket prices by a large amount this off season. That'll help show the "basement dwelling fan base" (Auston Matthews words in an interview years ago) that fans should be more appreciative this team exists.
Glad to see the bus 🚌 back in goal
Great game. Questionable officiating. Never think that because you have the power play, that Carolina isn't still dangerous.
Longest highlights in sports🥱
Leafs Outshot again. Top of the league in that stat.
-30 John Tavares ahahahahaahahahaha
“Hesitation because it was a bouncing puck he never controlled”?
Yeah, imma disagree on that one. Robinson is one of the Canes fastest players. He dusted Stetcher and was clearly in the clear… and from my view, he pretty clearly DID settle it on his first touch, that puck was in control… then on the SECOND touch when he tried to make his move, the hook came on the hands and completely took away his ability to do so… that was the right call. I mean that second view while Craig said it is even more telling lol. Puck on his blade, head up, tried to move to the backhand and the disruption on the hands made the puck bounce away again. Cuthbert was clearly thinking it himself before the call came in from the stripes … “are we gonna get a penalty shot here? Yep!”
Hell, before the shot I’d have probably said I prefer the powerplay over Eric Robinson taking a penalty shot. Glad it worked out how it did, though, I suppose.
Anyway, NIKISHIN
Despite a pretty sheltered role and only really intermittent run with the top powerplay unit when Ghost has been out – where I think he’s done a good job, if not been a little TOO hesitant to shoot – he’s had an impressive rookie year. 10 goals while rarely playing more than 13-15 minutes a night and not always in great scoring positions is impressive for a rookie d-man!
