   Someone was butthurt calling the Sabres play river hockey lol have they been watching since December?, we have won a ton on top of that how and in which way we are winning games, slow and grindy, win those, fast and free, win those, physical and chippy, win those. we just find ways to win doesn't matter the style. We winning the CUP!!!

   They’re on pace for 110 points. There’s no such thing as a “non contender” with 110 points. And they’re on pace for 110 points after a terrible start to the season. I think they should be the favorites to win the Stanley cup

   Tampa is gonna be our 05-06 Sens, they will try to take out our best guys and soften us up for Carolina and they will either overcome it and beat Canes or Carolina will squeak by again and steal our Cup IF they can beat Avs or Stars in the Final. Just my opinion

   The thing I point to most when it comes to this team, it feels like almost every game they've won since the Olympic break they've found a different way to do so
   Honestly, that's dynamic and can be an advantage in the playoffs

   IMO the reason I don’t say “why not the Buffalo Sabres to win the Cup” is simple. I’ve been watching hockey and have known hockey players since the 1980s. Today’s young player is not the 21 yr old of 1989. “WE” as fans and the local media have been crapping on these guys for years. “Cut him, trade him, he sucks, they suck, what is the cap dollar if we just release Samuellsson again?” – so I posit this point… perhaps in a age when we all laugh at how parents have their kids on tablets and they have their own Smartphones and are all into influencing and likes and “We” feel like their vernacular is strange and silly… maybe what “We” say online and in the media is absorbed by players playing today??? Maybe that’s why Jarmo went after some older vets… maybe some of the bad “press” (again I mean fans and media) messed with the minds of our team (esp in the last 4 seasons) maybe if they are playing really well… they don’t need to be told that it’s an Unsatisfactory year if they lose in the 1st rd, BUT they can also win the Cup and maybe it’s only a successful season if we make it past the 2nd rd. Maybe … just maybe … we should “Shut The Hell Up” and enjoy what is going on without putting signposts up every time. ie: this way to success… Danger this way to failure. Idk… maybe I’m wrong and maybe at age 51 I’m a lm a little “stitious”. Not Superstitious but still… enjoying the ridand shutting the hell up semi like a healthy alternative vs what “We” have been doing for 14 years. Why don’t we try it? Maybe let’s kick our heels up and enjoy the Spring and hopefully Summer. Just my opinion

    Really hope Buffalo takes it to Tampa in the last game and all the fans start chanting “River Hockey”
