Often I see a dirty hit and I can see how it was just a hockey play gone bad. This is not one of those cases.
I don’t personally have any ill will towards AJ Greer or the Florida Panthers in general, but this is probably one of the clearest cases of a completely unnecessary and dirty play I have seen in years. If this doesn’t justify a massive suspension I don’t know what does.
