Mason Mctavish is not a good player. He’s one of the slowest players in the league and he gets caved in whenever he’s on the ice. He’s making 7m for 6 years and has 32 points. That’s Couturier production without the positive possession play or two-way acumen but with the same foot speed. Because of his contract, he probably has negative value. It honestly makes more sense to trade couturier for Mctavish – two bad contracts where flyers get a development project and ducks get a steady veteran “shutdown” guy.

I don’t understand why people want to trade Tippett, cap is going up a lot his deal will age well. He finally looks like he’s figuring out the power forward thing . Last thing you want to do is trade him and watch him become a zach Hyman
