The flowers at her press box seat broke me. So devastating to lose someone like her and obviously so tragic to lose three kids as well. Just devastating.

Absolutely heartbreaking. I can’t even begin to fathom what the husband is going through.

I’m OOTL. Who was she? Broadcaster?

  4. Absolutely gut wrenching. Mike (spouse & father), Judd Zulgad & Kristin Krull in particular weigh heavy on my heart. I feel awful for all of them.

Russo made me cry and now I’m continuing to cry again. I didn’t always agree with her takes, sometimes she drove me crazy but man I frequently liked to listen and read and think about what she was saying. And isn’t that what makes a great fan? She taught me a lot when I started getting into the Wild.

The Wild media family is small but passionate and dedicated. I feel for all of them, the players who knew her, the organization who saw her every day, but most importantly her husband, family, friends. Unimaginable loss.

It’ll be a different season and playoffs without her. Everything will be different.

Oh my Gosh. Stars fan coming in. Nobody deserves to see a mom and kids pass young. Rest in peace and sending my condolences to the Wild family.

Absolutely tragic news. If anyone knows the husband/immediate family, please share a link if there’s any way to support them.

How does something like that even happen?

So tragic. Sad for Minnesota hockey and the hockey world.

Shocking and devastating news. She added a lot of energy to the media group here. I feel for the poor family having to cope with the massive void left by this tragedy.

This is horrific, she and her children were so young. I can’t imagine the pain her husband, family, and friends are going through. Such a terrible tragedy

I watch every Wild game of the year. Have done for 2 decades. Winter in the upper Midwest lends itself to watching lots of hockey. I’ve never met Jessi personally, but she’s been a regular part of my life since she started covering Wild. I always respected what Jessi had to say about the game, and I appreciated she was a true fan of the team and hockey in general. Jessi was always full of energy and it was clear she had the kind of magnetic personality that drew people toward her. Through consuming the media she produced, and Wild media being such a niche thing for die hard fans of the game and team, she almost seemed like a friend in a strange way. Almost seems like I knew her personally. Heck, she even sort of introduced us to her husband and kids one night when she was covering the Hughes trade. She did a segment from the passenger seat in the car with her family on board. I always appreciated the energy Jessi brought to the section of my life that included my obsession with Wild Hockey. She will be missed by those that followed her work.

Im just heart broken for Jessi, her family, and her greater Wild family.

    Love to you all

Such a brutal story to wake up to today. I always liked her sense of humor on social media. She was a great social media humor

  17. What’s the significance for the picture with the stick and the door?

  18. cacophony69

Absolutely terrible. RIP to her, her children, and their doggie 😞

I had to read the headline like 3 times, couldn’t believe it. It would be tragic under any circumstances, but a house fire? I don’t even wanna think about it

I feel so so bad for her husband, but I feel incredibly bad for her dad too. They were so close and they just posted pictures together on St Patrick’s Day. I can’t imagine what he’s going through.

I think he suffers from Alzheimer’s and how she made so many cool memories for him with the kids and always doing things together. I just am so heartbroken today
