anyone really think he lost it when he wasn’t on the top line?
Points not at present when down with the kids, but the game didn’t look any harder for Slaf on line two…
I think someone reads Reddit.
After a few of us pointed out that Demidov was never going for the back door reception on the PP, we finally saw him take this option last night and it opened up Slaf in the high slot.
Anyways, nice to see more movement on the PP and a monster game from that trio
He’s going to hit 30g and 70-75 points I’d think, in his 21-22yo season. If you’d told me to expect that when we drafted him, I’d have been very skeptical. That’s REALLY hard to do while also being physical and playing solid defensively. Very happy for him and I’m so excited to watch him keep getting better!
Me and you, Marty. Me and you.
Hungry Slaf is very good Slaf. Boy needs to eat his minutes.
Now we just have to add Hage and Zharovsky and we should be set for high talent players. 👍🏻👍🏻
Now just think if we had a player like Joey 🦘Army 🪖 on the P.K with Danault or Evans we would be set. 😂 😭😭
I remember his first season when he struggled to take a few strides without falling down, and his general awkwardness in the play. He’s come a really long way and he’ll be amazing for years to come
Just a Slovak power forward doing Slovak power forward things. We are so lucky to have him on our team.
I like that he got leadership experience with young guys on the second line tho.
I very much look forward to Slaf’s « breakout » year.
