You know I think y'all are forgetting how solid Buffalo's defense has been this season. Outside of this game it has been phenomenal. They still struggle a little bit with some puck watching but statistically especially recently they haven't been letting a lot of goals in
In this current seven game winning streak they've really only let in one to two goals on average aside from that Tampa game
Kadri is a saint in denver because he got us past the second round FINALLY. Despite his family receiving death threats from loonies in saint louis. And that goal in OT against vasilevsky with a broken thumb was unforgettable.
"you're gonna hsve to clean up the puck watching" re Sabres D zone weakness
I’ve made up my mind on Dahlin, lemme keep moving the goal posts till I get it right. Next on your morning cuppa.
Avs fans aren't obnoxious is a wild statement
Loved your comments about the sabers. I think your assessment is spot on. Love the addition Sam. Sabers fans are loving him.
Look into Wedgewood's history a little more. Every time he's been given a number one opportunity since juniors, he has shined and then some sort of bad luck denied him returning to the crease as the #1. Wedgie should be the playoff starter if the playoffs started tomorrow. His numbers this year are amazing as well. Blackie will come through, I think. But this year, it is Wedgie at the top of the Woodpile.
If the Avs lose it's absolutely because of the PP. Just look at Minnesota, they don't score and actually give up a shorty while Minnesota gets a PP goal. PPs are often the difference in the playoffs where margins are so thin.
And the Avs PP actually helped them get past Dallas in a game where the Avs were getting outplayed. They have to finish these chances and I think they will when it matters.
Lots of talk about Sabres D coverage, but the goals against for the last 6 games before this one: 1,2,2,2,1,2
Is that the only sabres game you've watched all season?
Go Sabres!
"We're down in this game so much so we are going to leave you hurting" is so off base. This game was close throughout. Most of the shenaningans happened when the game was 0-0 or 1-0. Tampa tried to bully Buffalo from the puck drop and Buffalo responded the entire game.
This is literally the only Sabres game this guy’s watched all year and it’s so obvious.
It is 3 years, play Franchise Hockey Manager. If you want to go further, it's Future Considerations, they can be 1st round picks.
Tough injury to the Landes-hog.
Daylight Saving! Not Savings 😂
Kadri did not get suspended the year before 2021 (that would be the 2020 bubble– he played all 15 games which included 3 round robin games). Jesse is always good to get a fact or two wrong any time he talks for a bit. Really not sure what he's thinking of.. he must be conflating a Leafs suspension with his time with the Avs.
Department of players safety is a joke The Hagel fine is so dumb. Hartman does that he may never play in the league again. What a joke
I feel that there are some parallels between the Sabres and that 2018-19 St. Louis Blues team.
