    Good to see Monty and Laine being team players despite their situations. It isn’t always a given for multimillionaire athletes to park their ego and find ways to contribute when they are sidelined.

    I have been critical of Sam this season. This kinda puts a lump in my throat in that he is still there to help his mates. Makes me think of Laine and how he has helped despite his injury. Tightest NHL team I have seen

    Laine seem to have accepted his situation. Honestly though getting 10 million to practice with these guys doesn’t sound that bad.

    Hopefully he stays healthy and gets one year prove it contract with some team. Healthy season with +25 goals and i think he could get an extension. If not there is always Switzerland where the game isn’t as fast but very competitive.
