#oilers #nhl #yeg #yegsports #hockeyteams #hockeygame #hockey #edmontonoilers #edmonton #edmontonsports #oilersgame #mcdavid #nhlhockeyislife #nhlteams #nhl #nhlhockey

  1. Agree with Dreger on the division debacle. Divisions and the Wild Card slots unnecessarily complicate the NHL standings and seeds. Divisions should be based on travel only, maybe some token perk for winning it but not affecting playoff seeding. The top teams play the worst teams and if you are 8th you are in, if you are 9th you are out – no 'wild cards' – isn't that what Bettman should want is simplicity to help make it easier for new fans to understand? The traditional style was so much easier than parsing the damn division standings as they are coordinated now – you shouldn't have to ask AI how NHL standings work, and there shouldn't be teams promoted to conference finals cause their division sucks – totally flawed and needlessly complicated system.

  2. Knoblauch took over a team that Woodcroft built. Every year Woodycroft coached, the team improved. They bump Woody, Knobs takes over and rode the hot team. And every year under Knoblaugh, there has been a decline. They did worse in his first full year even though they returned to the cup final..but they did worse against Florida the second time. And this year with all new coaches under Knoblauch and the team took a major dive. And its clear how Knobs coaches.. he has lose the teams trust. Like explain after the win against the sharks..where all 4 lines were buzzing.. knoblauch changes the line ups and messes with the chemistry?? Why not run the same line combos??

  3. Funny that Calgary Flames beat both Panthers and Lightning after visiting Edmonton. Does this mean something?

  4. Oilers been to the final twice. Upgrades on en everything and still can’t win. Knobs wouldn’t or couldn’t try anything different new. He can’t teach defense. Need a new coach that knows different tactics, cans get a room fired up! Team likes Coffee!!
