    Prediction. Toronto overachieves for regular season. Toronto bows out in first round.

    Think the ASU experience will be the OPPOSITE of what you predict. Brand new 5k arena that should be full? It will have a much cosier vibe. It will be like The Stones playing at a local tavern rather than the massive arena. Think fans and players will love it. Certainly it’s better than a half full 15k barn on the wrong side of the tracks in Phoenix.

    My bold prediction is that Matthews, Marner and JT will score 40 goals each and quite maybe Nylander will be lurking close as well to the 40 marker.

    Freddie and Campbell were both good and now let's see what Murray and Samsonov got! Predict we will see more of Woll this year as either Murray or Samsonov will be hit with injuries.

    Frankie Corrado: The Leafs goaltending tandem of Murray and Samsonov will be fine…….. Also Corrado : The Golden Knights goaltending isn’t good enough 😂😂😂 the Leaf homers are still alive and well 😂

    I predict, Sportnet, TSN, and every leaf fan will predict Leafs winning the cup after a hot October-March start.
    Then Leafs proceed to blow a 3 goal lead going into the 3rd period of game 7 vs Ottawa.
    Thus losing in the first round again (hot take I know).
    Those mentioned above will proceed to rag on the Western Canadian teams forgetting they are the embarrassment of the sports world.

    Leafs have the worst goaltending in the division. Matt Murray is a train wreck and will be hurt before November. My too early prediction is the Ottawa Senators make the playoffs, become the talk of the league by Christmas, and bounce Toronto in the first round. Then lose the Edmonton in the Stanley Cup final.

    Brutal take on saying Kadri can play the wing. It's just factually incorrect. Look at his time playing wing on both the Leafs and Avs, he can't play the position effectively. You'd think "experts" would be able to see that with the amount he's played wing in Colorado alone. Backlund is either taking the back seat and taking 3rd line C or will adjust to a wing.

    Maple Leafs exit the playoffs in the 1st round once again.
    No Canadian team gets past the 2nd round.
    Neither of the last 2 Cup winners make the Finals.
