The way they’re playing reminds me of a few seasons ago. Total lack of consistency. Playoffs are slipping away. Losing games they need to win while other teams that need to lose are winning.

Sadly the islanders need size and grit on defense and that’s Mayfield but man when mayfield makes a mistake it’s usually a costly mistake.

Didn’t see the game but sometimes it’s not the quantity of shots it’s the quality of shots. The trades Darche made were lateral trade’s it didn’t improve the roster and it didn’t make them worse. It just made them older. No offense to Holmstrom and heinamenn, etc (I know I misspelled it lol) but islanders need another 30-40 goal scorer and a physical defenseman

Last nights game pissed me off! If I am the coach, I am hard on them next few days with the (SMARTEN UP YA BIG DUMMEE"S) speech and extra skate/practice. You want to play like you need practice – we'll practice. You don't like it, go home! If I am the players (especially Lee) its a player only meeting time. This is the playoff's.
