I don’t think anything is wrong. Those guys listed all have played 55 games or more with the Flyers. You could argue that Grebenkin (55 games) could be swapped with Barkey (33 games) since both are rookies. But Barkey was a nice surprise this season and still gets scratched, so if ESPN wants to show him in camera and not list him, I’m fine with it. Sure, Zegras turned 25 a couple days ago and they probably made the graphic before his birthday in prep. Shrug.
Should they just have listed any Flyer 25 and younger that has played a game? Should Bump (9 gp) and Jett (8 gp) be listed as core? I have a hard time saying Barkey and Grebs are really « core », so my laat would look a little smaller.
We have an amazing regional broadcast. And when we watch national games they suck in comparison. And there are legitimate things to gripe about with ESPN broadcasts. But this is nit-picking.
