Yeah that’s how he made his initial billions – subprime lending.

  2. Old news. You don’t get to become a billionaire without exploiting someone.

We knew this already. Dundon’s rich because he takes advantage of people (duh).

For those saying this is obvious or old news, I shared for others who may have come to the fan base after he bought it and not read a flurry of “who’s the new owner” reporting. All billionaires are unethical, no shit. This is a particularly egregious way of taking advantage of people, included with new reporting surrounding his purchase of the Blazers.

“Predatory and harmful” are basically the billionaire business starter kit.

Is subprime lending actually unethical? Extending credit to people that no one else will because of their history of poor credit decisions? Don’t take loans you can’t afford.

Billionaires bad, sure. But can we agree there needs to be some individual accountability for the credit crisis?

Don’t send the lynch mob after this guy. Is he a scummy billionaire? Yes.

Is he a great sports owner? Yes.

We won’t find a better owner than him.

    Remember, even chemotherapy is poisonous.
