At this rate, by the time he becomes a UFA he’ll be coming off a 160 point season. Better hope the cap keeps rising.

While playing every game for the last 6 years. Truly impressive. I hope he can reach 100 points this year and snag himself a Selke.

Have to pinch myself this season is crazy. I’m in my forties and this roster might be the best version of the Habs I’ve seen EVER?

It has to be a record – I don’t think anyone has ever had that many consecutive improved seasons in a row. Even since juniors he never had a worse season than the previous season.

At the beginning of this season, social media people were saying he was overrated and was not a top 20 center in the league.

  7. Fabien_Lamour

Of note for the sake of comparison, first two seasons were shortened due to Covid so he had 47 and 60 points paces respectively.

His ceiling used to be Patrice Bergeron but the fact that he can stay healthy I feel he might have a better career

It’s also a testament to building around him. All those assists bc Caufield, Slaf are playing amazing with him

The last 4 years look pretty much the same as the team’s total points.

maybe nitpicking but I still feel it would be oh so satisfying to still see his GP numbers lining up beside these stats to see the solid 82, 82, 82, 82, 82, 82, 82 I mean that is SO awesome. That is leadership by example. Look Dach and Drouin conversely who can’t ever put together an 82 gp season almost to the point where they become chronically addicted to having a break every 20-30 games (Guhle borderline and Reinbacher says hold my beer but lets hope for the best – bottom line is work ethic is so good with NICHOLAS SUZUKI!!!)
