He’s been fantastic lately
A year or 2 down the line, when Fowler is settled in to the league as well, I think we‘ll have a very competitive pair of 1A and 1B goalies and it’s anybody’s guess which one will come out on top.
Since Jan 28th. He’s 7-3-1, .907 and 2.72.
He has been great, but not sure where those number game from.
…Or the team has been playing better in front of him.

Dobes is also a very young goaltender and very far away from a finished product so it would be foolish to think he’s at his peak now lol
He also that dog in him which I LOVE… not afraid to go full Hasek to stop a puck 😀

I honestly think that since the Monty charity was shut down, and Doby wasn’t constantly being jerked around anymore, he settled in.
Stability goes a long way into giving players comfort and confidence that they can make a mistake without being benched immediately.

Wild he was still 14-5-3. Kid’s a freak!
He’s holding the net better. He still gets out there but it’s tighter. He also keeps his body up and his arms really high. He’s killer on breakaways. The last few games he’s an octopus in there arms and legs just everywhere. His glove is legit. I’m liking it.

Given his W vs L record the guys want to play for him. He’s a gamer and can steal us games. He just needs to find consistency in his performances.

I’m happy he’s finally not on the short leash. I think this guy will end up being a very good NHL starter. He has all the tools.
