5,15 millions de dollars par an sur 5 ans avec un plafond augmentant considérablement ? Ceux qui se plaignaient de cet accord finiront par le regretter. C’est un véritable atout.

Worth his current cap hit for sure. Will it age well? We shall see.
The contract is yet to kick in so that remains to be seen. He’s had a really good season for sure, but it’s still way too early to determine if it was a good decision or not. I’m rooting for him.
Best center we got.
If he continues to have career years from here on and out sure. If he plays like he did the first almost decade of his career then it’s going to be an absolute pumpkin of a deal
Worth 5 per? Yes. The issue was never that. It was giving 5 years to an aging C having a career year.
Even if he stays at this level (50 point C) which probably isn’t the most likely outcome it still made no sense to give him the term.
His contract is one you evaluate two or three years in, not a good five game streak.
I enjoy having him on the team, but I am very skeptical about the NMC more than the term.
Well, he definitely is worth the contract with the cap rising… it’s really just a question of whether it’s a good contract for the Flyers given what the team’s ambitions are during the course of it. You can have good contracts that really suck for a franchise if it presents an obstacle to other forms of progression.
Flyers front office loves them some 3C’s
