I'm a Canucks fan and I'm embarrased to say that my team has a different theme night with a new logo and jersey for every minority group including pride night. Considering the team is at the bottom of the standings by a mile it sure seems like management forgot that they're running a hockey team and not some DEI organization.
It's becoming more and more difficult to remain a Preds fan. I've been a fan since the beginning, and even a partial season ticket holder for a few years, but since the SC Finals run it's all gone down the toilet. I can't even afford single game tickets anymore.
But, yeah, it's ironic not only did they play and get beat by the Devils in this game, but they pulled this stuff in the buckle of the Bible belt! It's like this organization wants to fail!
