    I like Woller and all things considered his season was honestly not that bad. I really want him to take over as the #1 next year though. I am personally not a fan of tandems especially going into the playoffs. We’ve had tandems for many years now (off the top of my head: Reimer/bernier, Campbell/samsonov, woller/stoalie) and while each tandem had their bright spots, they also failed due to inconsistency.

    The last time we had a true number one that started more than 40 games for multiple seasons would be Freddy, who I viewed as a true number 1.

    I think it’s distracting for the team to have to worry about all the time who is going in for the big games, and managing the hot and cold streaks of 2 goalies instead of one.

    Just get rid of Berube already. They clearly quit on him ages ago and this shit is unwatchable. That second goal last night, I’ve never seen such disinterest in getting the puck back in my life.

    It’s too bad Woll has been pretty good, the tank would have been further along.

    At least with last nights loss it makes my nightmare a less likely, where the leafs go on a run and just miss, then MLSE doubles down on Berube and Treliving.

    Honestly, any other team would love to have him im sure, or Hildeby or Stolarz for that matter. And we have successfully squandered this entire year on their behalf. We have lost games, and the only reason we weren’t blown out by 8-10 goal leads, is because of each of them standing on their heads. A half decent defense would have seen some shutouts for these boys this year. Sucks. All I can say.
