The way things are going, the Flames will win the next 9 and the rest of the western conference will lose all their remaining games and the Flames will make the Playoffs, and win the stupid division. ugh
We will play spoiler to the end and miss the playoffs by 1 point. All part of the plan.
Vegas is probably beating us and Vancouver, but the rest of those could be all losses. If Seattle picks up those two games, they could make the third place pacific, and both Vegas and LA could be out of the playoffs if Nashville stays WC2. This is the best case scenario I think because fuck the Knights, and I don’t like the kings either!!!
I get it’s good for Vegas to miss, but man I’m gunna be pissed if Edmonton gets to cakewalk LA in the first round again.
Dallas and Colorado games could well be easier than expected. They appear firmly locked at 1 and 2, so likely will be in load management at that point.
We haven’t faced Colorado at all this season just yet, they’re in a bit of a slump right now but those games against them.in this last stretch will definitely be telling of where we really are in terms of competitiveness for the future

It was always gonna happen, honestly I do love our team culture though..and it doesn’t seem like moving a lot of good team guys didn’t mess up their bond or compete level..and yeah I want a high pick, but fuck has it been fun watching our young guys, and I even mean frosty, tear it up. With reinforcements coming too. But I get it’s still not the best way to get what we need which is a true 1C, or a mckenna or stenberg
Colorado is going to be resting their guys I fear. We’ll have a better chance of beating them as Mac and Makar will probably be resting for playoffs
