Because of the rabbit fans and the media scrutiny, Toronto cannot get quality mentally healthy athletes! Who? would want to play in constantly hostile environment, so what you get are the players who don’t give a f**^ ! But are good enough to play in the nhl get paid millions to show up get a paycheck and play hockey for 15 minutes every couple days. Walk away from the game at 30 with a relatively healthy body and enjoy the rest of their lives. There are probably less than a handful, quality players, that are mom to win the Stanley Cup. They don’t want to play in the unhealthy environment of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
