Doubt we’re gonna be able to get press level resale tickets for like 20 dollars anymore though
We’re in the press level and we will be paying double (according to one of the guys I split tickets with)
They more than make up for any upper bowl price decreases due to how much larger the lower bowl is, the trend with pretty much all arenas built in the last 25 years.
As long as Barb gets hers
we’re in 208 and if my math is correct the starting price is about $8 more per game. which is better than i expected tbh
i gotta wait and see what the view looks like, Edmonton blows but watching a game in Rogers is a good enough experience *anywhere* you sit (asides the fact you need to watch the Oilers)
My boss showed me his email today and the price for their lower bowl seats are basically the same as what they’re paying now at the Dome
Press level in the dome sucks. Press level in the new arena will likely be way higher quality seats and experience.
I’d love it if you were right, but I think your math will prove to be backwards (33% increase) once people get into similar seats.
Don’t be fooled… « From $3290 » is the cheapest seat in the building. The Fireplace only has 2 levels. Cheapest season tickets in the nosebleeds at the Dome are substantially cheaper than that.
My current season tickets in the lower 200’s are $3200ish each…so I have to downgrade seats to stay in the same price point or pay more.
I am suspect of the starting at. Aka the top corners or the price band and how quickly it jumps.
Bullshit for $1000 Alex
There won’t be any good second bowl seats in this new arena unfortunately. The whole stadium is designed with significantly more expensive seats and very few affordable seats. Bad for fans, good for owners. As a fan I am literally paying for a new stadium so that I can have a worse seat and more expensive beer😕
