Yes, blame other teams for your decision to make the team older and not younger. Pelley is proof that you can be a complete moron and run multi billion dollar sports franchises.
If you’re surprised and not prepared that “X” team is good, you’re complacent at the wheel.

A lot of Leafers in this sub went into this season thinking the Leafs were near-locks for the diviison despite losing a 100 point player because they couldn’t imagine the teams around them getting better.
