@Sabres de Buffalo

    So good that even the Leafs are praising them

    Rebuild Toronto…. You have no shot for the next decade.
    Trade Matthews to an American team for 2 first rounders, and 2 top prospects.

    * I can be Toronto’s GM today. 300,000 a year and I’ll take the job

    They could have won every game against the Habs and Sabres and they’d **still** be outside the wildcard slots

    See nobody could have predicted that other teams in the NHL would sometimes be good, so there’s really no need to say that all the people who put Treliving in charge should all be fired for incompetence. This was an entirely unforeseeable outcome. We’re only bad because buffalo played good hockey for 3 months.

    Also, as the sun has come up again today, which I did not predict, I am declaring force mejure on my credit card balance and refusing to pay it.

    Toronto was never a contender because they played a soft and skill oriented game.

    The physical game, goalies and defense were average at best any given year.

    That won’t do it in the playoffs.

    « We couldn’t figure out how to win so we’re just going to blame two other teams instead. »

    Anyone with half a brain saw this shit show coming 3 years ago.
