I keep seeing these media people say “I’ll give him Buffalo”. I couldn’t disagree more, the whole statement just reeks of gross negligence. What do you mean you didn’t account for 2 of the youngest teams in your division winning more games or becoming better? I’m starting to feel bad for leafs fans, the whole organization is ran by a bunch of buffoons

Habs have been adding roster players and amassing draft picks for 4 years. Leafs have been trading away 1st round picks for rental players and letting their “core” slip away for next to nothing. Now they want to retool in Matthews window (2 years – he aint coming back)… good luck!

Watching Dangle’s synchronized Leafs Agony/Habs Glazing has been so fun the past couple years. As far as non-Habs content creators go, he’s one of two I pay attention to.
His reaction to the 2021 playoff run was so funny as he basically was outright cheering for the Habs by the time they were going up against Vegas.
What i see as even dumber in this statement is that Ottawa and Detroit were also supposed to be trains, but are sputtering a bit now. Like, who were you supposed to be better than, my guy?

I had the same reaction. How can you be involved with a hockey team and not see the Montreal Canadiens coming? This certainly explains how incompetent the Leaf organization has been.
