We'll be a wild card team this year guaranteed
I truly think last year was a complete bust and for this team to make a big step, a variety of players have to step up to the plate. Wheeler and the Coaches need to find a drive and motivation for this team. To make them show up every game and actually play the way they can, there is a lot of skill on the team and they need to make it all come together instead of playing so individual.
Ya I’m very confused with the defense too many people not enough space we need to get rid of people to have samburg and ville play even Stanley as a bottom pairing guy is decent
I just can’t see the Jets making the playoffs, in fact I can’t even see them making the top 20. I’m thinking the Jets will be picking 9th or 10th overall next summer.

It’s just really unfortunate that our city of Winnipeg has this pre-conceived motion of being a generally trash city thus relying on our farm system far greater than trading for high assets or signing high free agents.
I feel as long as the city is mediocre or below mediocracy, then so will the team.

I think it is possible for the Jets to be in the playoffs, even with all of the locker room disfunction. the team has been terrible at special teams for the past 3 seasons or so. if the only thing that changes is an improvement to their PP and PK, as in, top-15 in each category, I believe that's enough of a difference for them to be solidly in the playoffs.

The window slammed shut. This team may make the playoffs, but this is NOT a contender. I drank the kool-aid before, but this team will need to do a whole helluva lot better before I'll see them a anything but a bubble team.
With how toxic the Winnipeg locker room has been reported to be, they have to win to be able to keep all of the guys Longer then the end of their current contracts.
Textbook definition of running it back. I think we make playoffs. If Scheifele and Dubois are motivated, KFC and NikE can consistently find the net, and Helle does what he does, we can still be the team we thought we were going into last year.
Only thing I don’t like is Chevy not addressing the LHD log jam. Dillon is 31, Stanley is buttjuice, Heinola and Samberg both look like future top 4 d men. MAKE ROOM! Very frustrating.

D core is good, just didn't click, so here's to hopefully using our young guns and they perform. All top forwards need to do better this year. If Dubois kills it this year, do we risk trading at the deadline? I agree take the c from wheels, but who gets it then? I feel like the team is definitely in the playoffs. But there's some internal confusion going on or frustration that hopefully bowness will figure out.
The key is Wheeler. Will anyone want him? Can he accept a different role? Was the problem coaching. New Captain. If Dubois wants to get traded, he needs to play well. We may still get an acquisition yet. Will the Jets pull a Calgary? RIP InSvechWeTrustPLD LOL Go, Jets Go!
Last year all the Jets wanted to do was play 'fun' hockey. If they want to be a contender they have to have fun playing tough hockey, forget this fancy garbage that is easy to play against.

I think a huge problem is most people just don’t want to be in Winnipeg, not only the team but the city. Let’s be real, I’ve lived here my whole life and this city is trash. Nothing to do or see, and you’ll probably get stabbed, maced, or jumped at some point of living here
I see jets season going horrible, locker room stories keep going, and people want out and realize time for rebuild. Maybe try getting Benson Michkov or Bedard

The Jets this season could be one of the worst teams this NHL season.Everyone is talking about Montreal,Arizona, Chicago and my Philadelphia Flyers but I have a feeling Winnipeg could absolutely COLLAPSE! No one would see it coming.I honesty would have traded Wheeler and Schifliee. From what I heard they aren’t exactly great teammates.I think it’s time also for a GM change.If I’m Jets ownership and they end up in the bottom 3-5 overall I would CLEAN HOUSE! Great video! 😀

#1- How many great goalies in the league?
Not many but Jets have one.
#2- What’s the coach’s roles in creating and enforcing defensive team systems?
I’m told our new coach is good at that.
#3 – Will a united defensive core from better defensive structure result in fewer goals against our elite goalie?
Yes that alone should reduce goals against per game by at least 30%.
#4 – Does it make sense to test your defence player’s skill and abilities with the newly designed systems to figure out who plays best with Hellebuyck before you decide trades?
Yes that would be brilliant & Jets have a line up of players to test out.
#5 – Winning solves everything.

I plan on doing something different this year. I plan on investing as much money and effort into this team as they gave to the fans…….Oh Yeah that would be NOTHING!!!!
One or two of our prospects have to show some progression but they also need to be given a chance. Perfetti needs to show he can perform on the 3rd or 2nd line and either of Heinola, Samberg need to breakthrough in the top 6 D. If we don't get that our depth doesn't match up to the top teams in the West.
Really hope the signing of Gagner doesn't take away ice time from Gustafsson or Barron.
