I’ll always give McCrimmon credit for building a Cup team, but fair criticism is fair. Hague felt like a keep, and the return hasn’t justified it. Sissons hasn’t done much, and Lauzon’s been a mixed bag.
Then you look at the Andersson deal. Solid player, but it cost Whitecloud, a first, and more—for a pending UFA. If he doesn’t re-sign or move the needle, that’s a huge loss of assets.
If this trend in asset management continues, the conversation around McCrimmon’s job is only going to get louder.

I loved Cassidy and always will respect what he brought to our team and city. But I could see our players not pushing themselves and playing at less than 100% effort for at least the past couple of months. John is like a drill sergeant which is needed at this point.
As much as it hurts when we let someone walk as a FA, Fire a coach, or trade a beloved player….. I trust the process. You don’t make the cup 1st year and win in 6 without knowing what you’re doing. Maybe 5 years from now we’ll say this was a mistake, maybe 5 years from now we’ll have another ring or two. There’s a lot of couch GM’s out there, but McCrimmon and Foley have proven they’ll make the tough decisions to bring cups to Vegas. Go Knights Go!

One thing I never heard is blaming himself for trading established players for some who frankly HAVEN'T PERFORMED! I hope to hell MCCRIMMON is shown the exit very soon. Cassidy is a damn good coach and deserved alot better. This a SCAPEGOAT MOVE! Blame should be on MCCRIMMON!😢
