    I have nothing but compassion for what Ullmark has been through as a human being.

    That being said, he doesn’t seem to have a competitive spirit, which can be infuriating as a fan.

    Let's please not trade Ullmark to the Oilers omfg why?! Please get him somewhere where he can begin to thrive again. I think Carolina would actually be perfect for em.

    So the mayor of Pittsburgh has the same (slightly worse but statistical deviation) stats there then he had in Edmonton this year. in EDM: 23-11-8-4 with 2.83 GAA and 0.891 and in PIT: 23-7-5 with 2.90 and 0.888. Crazy how on one point he is unplayable on the other he should be the major of Pitsburgh

    Ottawa can't keep chasing goalies. If they're trading him, especially if they're retaining, they need to get a starter back, and that doesn't really make sense for most teams potentially trading for him. Carolina is a great defensive team, but so is Ottawa (when they're not down 5 D), and it's been a problem. Reduced pressure may help, but the Canes are at Cup or failure stage right now. Florida is a bad move because it's a divisional rival and they have nothing to trade. Maybe a trade with Vancouver? Three years of a rebuild gives them lower stakes if he continues to stumble. Demko is made of glass, but can be a very good, or Lankinen as a backup option.
