Nothing to see here, move along

The RedWings missed the playoffs last year because another team lost a bunch of games in OT 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ The league is broken

  2. Good thing RWs and OTWs are worth the same amount of points then.

The kings also have the tied-fourth least regulation losses.

  3. This has to be the lowest amount of regulation W’s for being a playoff contenders within a regular season by far

  4. Good luck with Colorado in the first round, partner. It’s been nice the past few years. We’ll miss you.

Meanwhile in Atlantic it will be possible for a 100 point team to miss the playoffs 👀

(Unlikely, but mathematically possible for Ottawa if they were to go on a winning streak AND the 2nd wildcard Columbus were to also go on a streak with the remaining games left)

Any my Wild club who have been arguably one of the top 5 teams all year only have 26 regulation wins in 74 games

  7. If they manage to pass Vegas (4pt gap LA has one game in hand), they could play Edmonton in the first round again.

The NHL really needs to move to a three-point system to actually reward regulation wins over OT wins

Can the Oilers fall out so all three Cali teams make it in for the first time since Dwight Eisenhower

The 8 seed versus Colorado in the first round is going to be an all time ass kicking

Simple fix – loser in OT gets NOTHING. You fucking lost so you don’t deserve a point. Will the NHL start handing out participation trophies?

  12. Can we just end fhe extra point for an OTL or make it 3 points for a win.
