This is huge. Kinda surprised he isn’t paired with Cates. They had so much chemistry and cates is getting hot at the right time.

Barkey – Cates – Michkov
Glendening – Couturier – Grundstrom
Honestly, the top 3 lines are pretty nice. Maybe you slot in Bump on 3rd line LW and run Barkey out there with Coots/Grundstrom? Perhaps Tocchet trusts/values Glendening more as a penalty killer and gives him another option in the faceoff dot.
I don’t want to set myself up for disappointment but man… Imagine they somehow secure a 1c this off season

I really, really hope he doesnt have mental blocks with his one timer now since thats how he got seriously hurt.
Its such a massive part of his offense. Hes scoring at his best when hes freely letting loose that one timer.
Im sure hes practiced it a bunch in practice lately tho so it hopefully doesnt affect him.
