Sportsnet has the Fox News of sports reporting. Kypreos is as reliable as my friends uncle Jim who works for the team.
How he didn’t end up with the Bruins for a 4th round pick is just crazy.
I guess I just don’t understand why we are trading guys like Knies and, to a lesser extent, Bobby McMann. They’re both promising players who most likely haven’t reached their peaks yet. Instead we are going to trade them away for some young prospects hoping they…what… Become the next Bobby McMann or Matthew Knies?
Like, I know he had a bit of an off year, but Knies was playing top line minutes for white a while, he has tremendous skill and size, he seems like a beauty teammate… Plus didn’t we lock him up on a pretty reasokable contract?
I understand why other teams want him, what I don’t get is why we don’t want him as part of our rebuild. He’s probably one of the only guys I’d hang on to 🤣
1. Why would we ever consider trading our elite 23 year old power forward?
2. Why would we try to make a trade of this magnitude at the deadline instead of the offseason?
