  1. The wings clearly overperformed early this season. Mark my words, they won't even be close to the playoffs next year. The culture in Detroit is cooked. They just simply aren't good enough even at their best. This collapse (again) shows how little these millionaires care about the crest on the chest. Gutless doe not even begin to describe this team.

  2. "Ducks are a wagon" on an L4 with (as of this comment) less points and a worse goal differential than the Wings. Not really defending Detroit because their inability to score or not go down by 3 or more goals in "must win" games is awful. I don't even blame Gibson for any of it even if he has given up too many goals, the Wings getting goalied by backups and 40 year olds is to be expected at this point.

  3. Edvinsson is soft. When the team is physical, they perform way better. Bunch of pussies! They have no idea what playoff season means.

  4. I don't care what anyone says you can be mad as much as you like.. the team plays better as a team without Dylan Larkin. That's not a knock on Dylan. I think they should trade him and let him go somewhere where he's going to get a cup. Let there be a changing of the guard. Let the young players figure it out the rest of the year and next year

  5. It feels like a lose, lose no matter what at this point. Make the playoffs and probably get swept or at best lose in 5 or lose a few more games, get eliminated and lose our 1st rd pick to STL which probably becomes a top 10 pick. Ahhhhh! Most frustrating wings team ever the last few years- even more than the horrible 2019-20 season imo and I’ve been watching since 1995. We were spoiled for so long but this is getting into Detroit lions territory now the past several seasons and completely ridiculous. I guess we can hope if they do miss. Yzerman goes and most of the core and then maybe Shanahan gets a crack at it with a new coach and trade for Auston Matthews and then gets Hughes brothers eventually. Idk I’m just dreaming my friends. This has gotten really bad and the best American hockey team ever and best hockey fans and hockey state in this country deserve better! End rant. God bless.

  6. Gibson stood on his head against Philly, that easily could have been a loss without him. Dude is overworked because Talbot is pretty much cooked. They should bring up Cossa and waive Talbot, who cares if he gets claimed. Then again, with the Wings luck, he'd be the backup on the eventual Cup winner.

  7. The redwings being a soft slow team falls on the coaches and managment, plus the goaltending has been horrible and thats on yzerman making no moves,…going on 10 years,…hey hey hockeytown 🐙🚨

  8. The defensive structure around Gibson has been trash for the past 6 weeks outside of a couple games. He's had 2 games in recent memory where he gave up a bad goal. This team CANNOT SCORE 5v5, Team leadership is garbage, Tanguay's zero pressure PK structure is horrible and don't get me started on dead weight contracts with worthless players on this team.

  9. I get your point,& Detroit is collapsing again,& Anaheim looks like they'll finish top 2 in the Pacific & I think have a very bright future. BUT A WAGON BRO? Don't they still have a negative goal differential? Im a Colorado fan with no dog in this fight but I'd be surprised if they beat Utah, or likely Vegas or Edmonton if they fall to 2nd in the 1st round. And id be absolutely stunned if they beat Vegas or Edmonton in the 2nd round. Sure they have a shot (EVERY team who makes the NHL playoffs does unlike the NBA where they all don't)-but I don't consider them ready to be a legit Finals contender yet-let alone a wagon.

They MIGHT win a round, will be a tough out,& get some invaluable playoff experience to maybe grow into that next yr. But if I had to bet,& seeding holds-Id say Utah in 6-wholl then lose to the Vegas-Edmonton winner in 6.(I say Vegas). For all of Vegas,& Edmontons issues-ive never stopped considering them as nearly on par as western conference threats in the playoffs to Colorado,Dallas,& Minny-not the case with Anaheim (or Utah or anybody else) THIS YEAR. Id be absolutely ECSTATIC to play Anaheim in WCFs if we are fortunate enough to survive the Central gauntlet. I dont think there's much chance of that as I still have ultimate respect for the talent,& "championship DNA" of Vegas,& Edmonton-which Anaheim has almost none of yet.

(I know Edmonton hasn't won the Cup but 2 straight Finals,& 3 of 4 WCFs…it's like Dallas. They haven't quite got over the hump but 3 straight WCFs,& a Finals like 5 yrs ago…both Edmonton & Dallas have tons of big game experience, elite talent & have seen just about everything is what I mean by "Championship DNA." Even at both of those teams lowest points-ive never written them off. And I don't want to see Edmonton or Vegas fall to the 8 seed. I like our chances in WCF but just as they don't want us 1st round -id rather play anybody than those 2 teams of the potential 8 seeds -although now Edmonton is highly unlikely. Anaheim is also highly unlikely but if they could go in a slump,& fall to #8-Id be very happy playing them 1st round by contrast.)

The gist of your video is absolutely spot on but slow down on the hyperbolic adjectives-thats all. Edmonton & Vegas are the only Pacific teams that still have "the ceiling of a wagon"-cuz of pedigree, talent,& recent playoff accomplishments. Anaheim doesn't yet. Possibly in the future but definitely not this year. I don't think today Anaheim is better than Detroit straight up-although you could argue their future is maybe brighter. But Detroit plays in the East,& Anaheim plays in the Pacific. If you switch that around-Detroit is a playoff team,& Anaheim wouldn't be this year. But having said that there is no excuse for Detroit's 3rd straight March collapse basically. You could kinda understand the last 2 yrs…mainly cuz of youth,& inexperience,& ya figured they'd learn from it.

By now it's just becoming a terrible pattern,& reputation. This is the 1st year where it's actually regression in their development if they don't get in. But they also play in a conference where ya need like 10 more points than the West to get in. And I don't dislike Detroit at all. I stopped hating them when they moved to the East,& the last 2 yrs I actually pulled for them to make the playoffs. But this has to be a concerning collapse for Wings fans. And Duck fans your team is coming-they kinda remind me of like 2018 or 2019 Colorado. But they aren't even a legit Western conference contender yet LET ALONE A Wagon in my opinion -but maybe they'll prove me wrong.

  10. The RedWings couldn't get motivated for the Rangers. That is so sad. This is a coaching problem. They play again on Sunday against the Wild. Can they get motivated for Minnesota. Probably not
    No playoffs again. So disappointing.
