    I felt that one for sure. That walk has been depressing, demoralizing and dark for way too long….but we keep coming back because we love this franchise. Ugly crying right now. I am so happy for all of us and for the players and coaches.

    That cuts deep. I’ll be the first to admit I stepped away for a couple years(still watched handful of games a year) but just couldn’t handle the « country club » the team became.

    Fans pick up on that. Especially a HOCKEY TOWN that is buffalo(go Bills though lol). This city knows hockey. We knew when they just *didnt care*. And responded with our wallets and empty seats.

    We also saw when that changed earlier this year. And damn near overnight sold that place out. And continue too. We just wanted *something* to hang our hats on. Instead of being the laughing stock again and again.

    I just wish RJ was around *this* version of the team. Mostly the same players, just grown up a little. You know he’d come out of retirement for that first home playoff game 😢 We miss you RJ.

    Funny my 14 year old daughter asked me just this morning if id cry if the Sabres won the cup. i was like hmm idk i guess it depends how. And after watching that i know without a doubt i would be no matter what.

    I don’t know if you guys are watching the Colorado Avalanche and the Dallas Stars but they just played this whole video during the second intermission Steve Levy, Mark, Meier, and PK on ABC NETWORK are loving to and a are lobbying do their show from the arena during one of the Sabres games

    RJ was one of a kind.

    We are honestly damn lucky to have had him, and also Dan Dunleavy who has done the impossible job of succeeding him, was another great choice by the Sabres in a time it didn’t feel like they made great choices.
