I guess no one else is saying it, so I'll say it. I still love my red wings. Gonna be a good next season. We're just getting better each year. If we were in the western conference , we would be comfortably up there as a top placed team. Y'all live in the moment too dramatically. Enjoy what you're paying for . It's a sport . It's excitement. It's not your own career or life that's getting spoiled. It's just A sport. I watch every single red wings game and these guys are an amazing 30 or so dudes. If you take out the years when the Russian players were in their prime – and a big credit to Mr. I for drafting them – the Red Wings have not been very good. The Red Wings need to do better scouting players, signing players and when necessary, trading for players.
I guess they all they all want to see if they can get their HCPs below 10 like Raymond… or want to go fishing, sailing, partying why waste a good 2 months of early summer. I just don’t understand how the other teams make massive moves before trade deadline and not 5-7 guys get moved. Seems they are all too careful about breaking up the great relationships they have built. Are the contracts really that poor? Or are they all so comfortable that they prefer to stay mediocre because they know this way no one will trade for them? At this point I wonder what SY would get for Mo or Raymond. It would be interesting to see what Edvinsson or ASP can fetch… I doubt you would get anything for Copp, Compher, Rasmussen, Kasper or Mazur to ride home about. It would require unholy packaging for sure. I am just stunned how it feels like there is little to know emotion or passion to see when it isn’t about every game, but every shift! Are they not getting mental coaching? Lalonde soft touch could help them and unless we are getting a different coach in the Media I expected Paul Maurice or Bruce Boudreaux locker room speeches since a couple of weeks ago now! “Dig the fuxxx in” “you got to bring something on the table” “pound their fuxxx D” do none of these players ever watch these speeches? Do they all run home and get their consoles out to play Minecraft or Fortnite instead of watching tape and working on their contribution? Look at the competition in the race?! Where do they find it?

Copp was right, high and wide has been a longggggggggggg standing issue with this team. Can't hit the broad side of a barn. Also can't enter the zone and unwilling to try anything other than dump and chase.
No accountability with this team Todd McClellan has been calling these boys out and everyone passes the blame . THIS TEAM DOESNT PLAY TO WIN . Its not defense its not goalie issue .you have to score goals! every single opponents goalie isnt just " on his game " bc you cant score . What a absolute embarrassment to us fans . Its too late for Larkin to shake the lockeroom he needs the C ripped off his chest
