hockey is a violent sport mixed with skill. i wouldnt say they deserve it but they gotta be ready for it
that chick annoys me… she reminds of people who want fights gone altogther and to be honest i think that would put so many more players at risk.. i watch leagues like the shl, khl where they arent allowed to fight without MAJOR repercussions, and the dirty shots, the dirty hits, are outrageous
Just because you score 30 goals in the season doesn't mean you're not going to get your ass handed to you. You got to check the stats sheet to make sure you can fight them first. Grow some balls or retire.

If you come charging in with your hands up on someone you'd better be ready to throw them. Beagle has been one punched before – you can't blame him for throwing down with someone who comes in hot like he wants to throw hands as if he's gonna stop and look at the # on his jersey before defending himself. He thought he was in a fight so he reacted – turns out it was an overreaction. If anything you need to blame the refs for letting Terry get bloodied up so bad – they have stepped in way quicker for fights between two actual tough guys many times this year.. Anyone who "can't understand" how Beagle could do this has never felt what being in a fight is like.

You NEED to have enforcers on the team. Having a bunch of small skilled guys with nobody to protect them is going to end in a TON of premature retirements from the Ducks. This a prime example of why enforcers are needed on every team.
Or teach your young small/skilled guys to fight and stand up for themselves. Giving up and turtling only made his situation worse by allowing Beagle to just pummel him.
TL;DR – Trade for some enforcers, or learn how to fight.

A lot of people would love to see every team have a nick deslauriers. His fight and hit highlights are just as exciting as a skill guy scoring on a 2 on 1. That women is hyper sensitive and out of touch with what fans still like to watch. Everyone loves a 4th line energy guy. Stop trying to emasculate hockey.

Get this gal off of here. The NFL and NHL are violent leagues, they always will be. If it turns into pillow fighting people aren’t going to wanna watch anymore. Sure we all love cool highlight reel goals, but we also love giant hits and fights. Bieksa was pretty much spot on with everything he said.
