Shhhh….too much hype, time to be quiet
Well, it was bound to happen. After winning 8 in a row and coming off an undefeated road trip, the Habs came home and laid a stink bomb. The passing wasn't crisp, the power play was out of sync, they had more shots go wide than on net and the hustle just didn't seem to be there. They could have played 2 more hours and I don't think they would have scored. The best effort of the night was Joe Veleno on a shorthanded effort in the 1st Period where he was outnumbered in the offensive zone but managed to generate a nice scoring chance on his own. Hopefully the guys can shake this one off and come back strong against another non-playoff team on Tuesday night with the Division lead still in play.
What happened? I know it’s a matter of time streak will come to an end, but not like this.
If the Habs keep this bs with all the passing they will not get far in the playoffs
