@Maple Leafs de Toronto

Les diables licencient leur président/directeur général. Des rumeurs circulent selon lesquelles ils s’intéressent également à Mehta et ont une histoire avec lui. Je ne serais pas surpris s’ils agissent vite alors que les Leafs semblent attendre la basse saison…

99% of people didn’t know who Mehta was until his name was reported in the last 5 days.

    It will be okay

  2. This feckless fucking org man.

Why fucking wait until the off season???

The leafs are always a day late and penny short. They missed on Debour (not sure how to spell that), but Mehta is a progressive guy they should lock down.

If I was Mehta I’d probably hold off any decisions right now and see what the hockey team with the deepest pockets offers me first.

The yare not waiting until the off season, where are you getting this info from? They started their search already via third party

  6. Oh my God leafs savior Mehta

A name nobody knew until last week

Brad is so much better than Fitzgerald, it’s actually not even close

He should be in the stay the fuck away list

You people are absolutely insane if you don’t think that the franchise hasn’t already reached out to these people such as Mehta or coaches like DeBoer, if there is interest in them, the club has reached out. If the leafs and deboer had mutual interest, he wouldn’t accept the job.

Mehta used to run the devils analytics between 2014 and 2020 (one playoff round/appearance in that span). Also moonlights as a professional poker player? No thanks. Thinking this may be a case of the peter principle

Putting aside any specific candidates who may or may not be available, it IS pretty dumb to have a very important vacancy and just sit with it for the foreseeable future, especially when other teams with the same vacancies will not be doing that. It is competitive out there.

  11. CJ also reported today the Leafs process to hire their next GM/President may go a lot quicker

Very soon only Peter Chiarelli will be left. He just left his post with the Blues last week and now is available to talk to other teams. Nashville has also shown seem interest, so the Leafs better hurry up /s

lol and what are we basing them waiting for the offseason to begin their search on? They’ve almost certainly started the process. They aren’t waiting until the 15th just because that’s when the season ends.

  14. Hello everyone, please allow me to speak out of my ass for a moment on the situation regarding a person I’d never heard of until this weekend

    Thank you

  15. That would be hilarious if they signed him after the Isles grabbed DeBoer. Taking possible Leaf candidates. I wonder if they will be using a hiring firm like Pelley is? Something tells me that they aren’t.

  16. Not saying he is good or not but very on brand for us to drag our feet and miss out on something…that has been the way this team has operated for 10+ years. While teams act quickly and with urgency, we are looking for a firm to hire a guy who will hire another guy who will hire the coach.
