WHY IS AN 18YR ROOKIE GIVING MORE EFFORT THAN EVERYONE ELSE?
This fckin team suffers from a severe lack of effort and common sense (clearing the puck) for a FULL 60mins!!!
OK realistically HALF the team gives effort Schaef, Holmer, Pager, the 4th line, Ritchie, Schenn, Bo…everyone else Im usually disappointed

Roy will land on his feet. The man has greatly evolved and he made the Islanders a much better team. He did not deserve this. Excited about De Boer, but with four games left… the Islanders do not control their destiny. You can't blame Roy when the team plays with zero fire in the gut.
